Mira (She/Her/Hers) aims to provide a warm and comfortable space so that people of all backgrounds can feel safe exploring their individual areas of concern and moving towards a place of growth and healing.
As a social worker, Mira will meet you exactly where you are, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to help improve functioning based on your unique concerns. Mira’s treatment is trauma aware and focused.
Mira provides individual therapy for ages 18+. She offers appointments via telehealth only.
Education: BA in Social Welfare and Psychology at UW-Madison; MSW in Social Work from U of M-Twin Cities.
Advanced Training/Certification:
Trained in the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing model (EMDR) through Midwest Center for Trauma
Trained in the Anchor Relational Model (formerly AIR Network Model) for treating complex trauma (C-PTSD) and dissociation
Certified in treating Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C)
