Experience

Sarah (She/Her/Hers) believes that each client is an expert on themselves and she will work collaboratively and uniquely with each individual client to help them gain insight into who they are and what works best for them. Sarah believes that therapy doesn’t have to be serious or heavy all of the time, and tends to bring humor into her work with clients.

Sarah believes it is essential to look at all aspects of a person including race & ethnicity, culture, sexuality, spirituality and environment. She works with people of all genders who struggle with pregnancy and postpartum related issues. She also loves working with mothers in all phases of life. She is mom to 3 incredibly unique kids that challenge as well as inspire her! She loves exercise, especially outdoor road biking & is a recovering perfectionist.

Personal

Why did you become a therapist? I became a therapist because I wanted to help people feel heard, understood, and validated so that they can begin to know how amazing they are.

How do you recharge? Exercise, meditation, sleeping for 7-9 hours.

Do you have any pets? A 5 year old miniature poodle named Stella and a 5 month old miniature poodle named Theo.

What is your favorite podcast? I did not listen to podcasts until the pandemic and now I cannot go more than a week without listening to We Can Do Hard Things, by Glennon Doyle, as well as the Ten Percent Happier Podcast. Both have incredible guests and I feel the hosts are genuine, funny, and super relatable.
