Why did you become a therapist? After going through a healing process myself to make positive changes in my own life I was interested in helping others do the same. Even though people go through difficult times in the past and/or at the current time with support and encouragement everyone has the ability to create a life that feel joyful and have a sense of peace with.
What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being? I take a little time in the morning before I get started with the tasks of the day to sit with myself and drink a cup of coffee. Having a few minutes to get settled before the busyness of life begins helps me.
Do you have any pets? I have a 13 years old Bichon/Yorkie/Maltese/Poodle mix (a little yapper dog) named Sherman.
What is one of your favorite books? I really liked the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle as it validated the need for people to be happy/support themselves in the ways that are truly right for them and not feel guilty about that.
