I believe that behavior is the language of children, so I help children and their caregivers explore the causes of their concerns while providing support and solutions that help relieve stress for everyone.

Personal

Why did you become a therapist? I wanted to help others become advocates for their own needs. This became especially true after having kids, because what parents need is often overlooked. I want to provide a space for parents to come in and talk about the things that are hard- they don’t have that.

Do you have any pets? I’m a dog person who has learned to love cats! Recently losing my 17-year-old dog, I was reminded what an important part pets play in our lives. I have two cats that came from a rescue (brother and sister) who ended up becoming pandemic pets, which has been helpful for our own family.

What’s your favorite movie and why? I’m a massive Marvel nerd! But my favorite movie is Inception, because I loved how it showed how we can find our way out, even when we get stuck in our heads.

How do you recharge? I love anything artsy! I love to paint, color, make things with clay… anything I can do to be crafty.
