Why did you become a therapist? I became a therapist because the way that we interact with the world around us has always fascinated me. I have enjoyed watching people learn new things, and then implement these changes to positively impact the relationships around them. I am specifically interested in perinatal mental health out of my own experiences as well as am fascinated by the unique role that hormones play on the female body that impact females differently than males.
What are your interests outside of work? Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, whether playing outside, going to the Zoo, or spending time on and around water.
Books I'm listening to: Oh Crap! I Have a Toddler; Maybe You Should Talk to Someone; The Teenage Brain: A Neuroscientist's Survival Guide to Raising Adolescents and Young Adults
Do you have any pets? I have two dogs (a cockapoo, and a yellow lab mutt) and a betta fish.
